National Indigenous History Month - June 2026

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the rich cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples in Canada. The Sea to Sky School District joins the nation in honouring Indigenous communities' history, achievements, and resilience. Throughout June, we encourage students, staff, and the broader community to engage with Indigenous stories, traditions, and cultures to gain a deeper understanding of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis experiences. Principal's Message

Welcome to St’a7mes School! We are honored to teach and learn on the traditional, unceded territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation. Our unique program of choice blends language, culture, land, and project-based learning, placing students and community at the heart of our approach. We believe in the power of connection and the positive impact we can make together. Interested families are encouraged to reach out and explore how our innovative program can benefit your child.
