This week we have been very busy getting back into the groove with student learning and we are excited more students are in attendance this week. The importance of attendance especially during this difficult time is paramount for children’s mental health and learning outcomes. There is still a concern around consistent attendance in our classrooms. We completely understand that some parents are still concerned regarding the Omicron Variant and we are here to support all our families in making decisions that makes sense for them. The school wants all families to know that the best way forward is to reach out to your child’s teacher to discuss your concerns. We want to encourage all those families who are having a difficult time right now accessing the school for a variety of reasons to reach out and let’s chat about a plan that works for everyone involved, especially our kids.
I would also like to remind parents that all of our Term 1 Report Cards have now been uploaded to the MyEd Parent Portal. Please find instructions below to access your child's report card if you have not done so already.
INSTRUCTIONS TO COLLECT REPORT CARDS
- Click here to logon: https://myeducation.gov.bc.ca/aspen/logon.do
- Login ID: (usually your first initial and last name) Please hold-on to this login ID as it can be used to reset your password in future sessions. If you do not have your ID then please email [email protected].
- Password: Please note, your password expires every 90 days. Put in your old password and then type in a new password.
- Forgot Password - If you do not remember your old password, simply click I forgot my password and you will be emailed a temporary one to access.
- Once you have logged on, look on the right side for Published Reports. Click on your student’s report card to open pdf.
- Save to your computer

INDIGENOUS YOUTH LEADERSHIP – will take place from 11:30am – 1:30pm on Monday, January 24th for those Learning Expeditions students that are registered.
JANUARY 31-FEBRUARY 4
GRADE 10 REPORT CARDS for Quarter 2 will be uploaded to the parent portal on Friday, February 4th.
