Good Morning,
It’s only been four days, but we’ve had another full week of rich learning here at the school!
Chen kwen mantumi Tyler for what you brought to this school this week! Tyler is a pow wow dancer who spent time with all of our classes sharing learnings with us about the pow wow dance technique. He gave meaning and authenticity to the teachings by sharing his personal story of how dance has given him strength in his life. It was very inspiring to us all.
“I hope you never lose your sense of wonder, you get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger, may you never take one single breath for granted. . .
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance”. . .
~ from Lee Ann Womack’s song “I Hope You Dance.”
May you dance into the weekend,
